EV Charger AC – Electrical Setup, Installation & Commissioning Service

Service Description

This service provides a complete solution for the electrical setup, wall-mounted installation, and commissioning of AC electric vehicle chargers for residential and commercial locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The service covers all required electrical works starting from the power source up to commissioning the charger and confirming it is ready for operation. All works are carried out by qualified technicians in compliance with applicable electrical safety standards.

Note: This service does not include the supply of the EV charger. The service covers electrical setup, installation, and commissioning only.

Scope of Service

1️⃣ Site Review & Preparation:

• Review of the installation location
• Identification of a suitable power source (distribution board or electricity meter)
• Planning of cable routing
• Verification of site readiness prior to execution

2️⃣ Electrical Setup & Cabling Works

• Electrical cable installation from the power source to the charger location
• Wall-mounted and surface cabling only
• No underground cabling
• No trenching, drilling, wall breaking, or cable burying
• Earthing (ground) connection
• Installation of appropriate circuit breakers
• Installation of isolation and protection devices
• Full compliance with electrical safety requirements

3️⃣ EV Charger Installation

• Wall-mounted installation only
• Secure mounting of the charger using suitable fixing materials
• Level alignment of the charger
• Installation of charging cable holder (if applicable)

If installation on a pedestal (pole mount) is required, the pedestal must be ordered separately and is not included in this service.

4️⃣ Commissioning & Testing

• Voltage and current inspection
• Commissioning and functional testing of the charger
• Charging test (if a vehicle is available)
• Final system verification

5️⃣ User Guidance

• Explanation of charger operation
• Explanation of indicator lights
• Basic safety instructions

Distance Categories Covered by the Service

The customer must select the appropriate service category based on the distance between the power source and the charger location:

• Up to 15 meters
• 16 to 20 meters
• 21 to 25 meters

Each category includes:

• Surface wall cabling
• Electrical cables
• Circuit breakers and isolation devices
• Electrical setup
• Charger installation
• Commissioning
• Basic user guidance

Distances exceeding 25 meters will be subject to a separate quotation following site review.

• Riyadh
• Jeddah
• Dammam

Locations outside the listed cities will be quoted separately.

Terms & Important Notes

• The customer is responsible for accurately measuring the distance between the power source and the charger installation point prior to ordering the service.
• Service execution time depends on site conditions, routing distance, and power source readiness.
• When scheduling the site visit, the customer or an authorized representative must be present at the installation location throughout the service execution period.
• The service is not immediate and will be scheduled after coordination with the technical team.
• The customer must provide a clear video showing:
• The power source
• The cable routing path
• The intended charger installation location
• before confirming the installation appointment.
• Any additional works not included in the scope of this service will be quoted separately following site assessment and customer approval.

Warranty

• 12-month warranty on electrical setup and installation workmanship
• Warranty does not cover misuse, modifications, or alterations after completion
